Reactivating the chapter

The way that I understand it Tidewater NOW used to be a successful chapter but disbanded after the March on Washington.

Around 2009 after I became really inspired to be an active feminist in my community I started my journey with Tidewater NOW and reactivating it. After I learned that it had disbanded and meeting really cool feminists at the VA NOW conference I decided that reactivating the chapter had to be a big priority. I was able to generate a small interest from women's studies students at ODU and we threw a gathering at the YWCA called Gather NOW. It promoted local artists in the area and gave them a venue to sell their goods. It was a lot of hard work to get the chapter to this status.

Then I became pregnant as well as exhausted during the entire pregnancy and had to take a break. Tidewater NOW fell into a few hands until it became deactivated again. Well, it's been over a year since the birth of my daughter and I am read to pick it back up. Tidewater NOW should be an active voice in our community! It should be an outlet to bring change and positive solutions to women's lives.

I need to drum up interest again and I need to know WHO is interested to reactivate the chapter with me! A lot of the work has already been done and now we just need to generate interest and make commitments! Who is with me?
